ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL Muncies (regardless of M20-21-22) up through 70 had the 27spline tail shaft. Then, ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL 71-74 Muncies had the larger 32spline tail shaft.
As of course, there is always at least one exception to the rule. SOME, SOME, SOME 1970 M-22s got the larger 32spline tail shaft. It's my understanding that the 32spline 1970 M22s were ONLY in Chevelles, probably behind LS6 engines (the Chevelle was the ONLY car to get an LS6 in 70). And it was the GOOD hi-compression LS6. The LS6 in the 71 Vette had been immasculated to a lo-compression version.
