Thank you Bob, The slash of tan paint sounds easy enough to do. The chassis will look better when I blow some black goo on it just before body drop ..

Tracy, Check the archives for info about the webbing change. I remember the discussion and comments from others that actually had one of each on the original cars. I believe the change is in 63 but not certain.

Tim, that is part of my problem. For the last 2 days I have been combing through the archives looking for a previous discussion and I can't come up with anything. I do remember a discussion regarding added material on the spindle halfshaft flange and how that change surfaced early during the 63 model year.

I'm going to look through my Nolan Adams book and also review the collection of 63 pilot line photos again and see if I can find a picture of the webless beast. We may need to start a survey of 63 owners to boil this down.

        thanks,
        tc

              Tracy, looks terrific!

Make sure you don't torque any of the bushing bolts (front upper and lower control arm pivots, trailing arm pivots, inner and outer camber strut rod pivots, rear shock lower nuts, and front stabilizer bar bushing frame brackets) until the car is on wheels and the suspension is at normal ride height.

                  Hi Tracy,
                  I really enjoyed your pictures!
It's almost a shame to put the body on and cover up all those great looking parts and hard work!!!
                  Regards,
                  Alan

Thank you John. I haven't any torqued the things on your list except I have torqued and pinned the outer and inner camber strut rod pivots and the lower shock mount nuts.... however, these were torqued with the halfshafts at normal ride height after I roughed in the real wheel alignment and prior to bolting the trailing arms to the rear spring.

One thing you left off the list was the 4 bolts attaching the rear spring to the diff housing. I'll wait for the weight of the car for that one too..

                        Tracy,

I also noticed the rear brake drums do not have any springs around the perimeter, I believe that's the way my car was when I got it. I installed the springs am I am not sure it's correct as I seem to remember owners reporting only front springs.
