What is the correct radiator for a 1969 L89 with TH400 transmission and NO A/C I have browsed the catalogs and DeWitts site and can't find an answer.

GM #3019190. Absolutely. Positively.
By the way, it would have been the same radiator with or without C-60. However, no L-89 was originally equipped with C-60, so that's a moot point. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: Radiator with L89 and TH400
Thanks Joe. I see lots of "close" copies but nobody is claiming an exact reproduction. There are a number of replacements in aluminium. The car I am looking at has some kind of a "hot rod aluminium radiator" one of the few parts that is not original.

Re: Radiator with L89 and TH400
I think that at some point DeWitts might start reproducing one. I believe they offer a reproduction core now. So, all they would need to do is to tool up to produce the tanks and they'd be there. They would need a GM license, though, since the original right side tanks were embossed "Harrison".
By the way, a DeWitts Direct Fit aluminum radiator is very similar in configuration to the 3019190. There are a few differences (such as the lack of the Harrison embossment) but the benefit is that the aluminum construction offers about 30% greater cooling capacity. In fact, the DeWitts Direct Fit version of the GM #3019190 has more cooling capacity than ANY radiator ever originally installed in a Corvette from 1953 to 2010.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

I struggled with the same issue. My original copper/brass BB radiator had already been re-cored once, needed it again and the side tanks were badly dented. Opted for the DeWitts Direct Fit aluminum, painted by them. The Doc Rebuild seals are a bit of a challenge because the radiator is slightly thinner than the original, but the aluminum cools way better. Best $500 spent on the car. The original Harrison went into the DeWitts cardboard box for the next caretaker to ponder and deal with.
