I'm ready to take off my side exhaust and go back to under car exhaust. I would like to get my car judged, I know i will lose points for not having original exhaust so its either Gardner or corvette central does anyone know the difference between the them or have an opinion, I know one cost a little more but does anyone know the difference in "sound or looks" thanks for your help Ralph

Re: n-11 off road exhaust ?
Ralph, I can't comment on judging but I recently put C Central off-road exhaust on my '67 L-79 coupe. Obviously, the muffler is not embossed like the original, however, the system fit well and sounds great. To me it sounds about like a '66 425 coupe I had 10 years ago which had original off-road.- Top

Hi Ralph, put Gardners system on my 64, love it. Go to Gardners websight for sound clip of 64, same as 65 system. Perfect fit, lots of archives on topic. Have fun!

Ralph,
I purchased my N11 exhaust system for my 1965 BB from Corvette Central. They use the Waldron mufflers and weld the exhast pipes. Had the car judged at the Marlborough regional last year and had zero deduct for the exhausr system. The mufflers sound great!- Top

Re: n-11 off road exhaust ?
With the Gardner system you have to weld the mufflers to the forward pipes or use the clamps provided. The CC system can be purchased with the mufflers welded to the forward pipes.
I have purchased systems from both Gardner and CC. Good fit and good service. I believe Gardner does a better job on packaging and customer support. Their pipes have the wrinkles in the pipes as originals as CC doesn't. At Gardner you talk to the owners and exhaust is ALL they do.
I think you would be happy with either system.- Top

Re: n-11 off road exhaust ?
Ralph,
One company to avoid is Allen's Exhaust. Purchased an off road aluminized system for my '66 427. Poor fit, miss bent, miss cut pipes and poor customer service. When contacted it was anyones fault except theirs. Mike Allen did nothing to rectify the situation.- Top

I have the CC off road on my 65 L76. They fit nicely and they sound great. Not as loud as the CC video.- Top
