56 3-speed info

How does the 56 3-speed transmission vent itself. It does not have the tailhousing vent. Is the input shaft drilled thru or is there another path of
venting to the unit.
Please help.

Ken -

Most likely it vents through the front (input shaft) bearing, like a Muncie or T-10 (they didn't have any external vents either).
