I was going over my sheets and I received a deduct for my accelerator rod ground strap. It states, conf. and direction. In looking at the AIM, it appears to look like mine does. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance."http://i51.tinypic.com/ofwrcj.jpg"

I too was hammered for that in regionals, one that looks like that. But in chapter and nationals, they said mine was OK. You get as many opinions as judges it seems.

Micheal, I agree that there are times when items will or will not receive a deduct, it is part of any judging process. Hopefully, I will get an answer to whether the strap on my car is placed correctly or not.
