    1967 Part identification, please

These two brackets or molding pieces were not labeled, I don't remember where they came from, and I haven't been able to find examples of them on any of the vendor websites. What are they?

Hi Paul, thanks for the great picture. Does anyone know what that piece is called? I would like to locate it in the AIM.

It's referred to as a "cap". GM #3846395, LH, and GM #3846396, RH. 3846395 was discontinued in January, 1974 and 3846396 was discontinued in July, 1972.

Another term is pinch weld or welting cap.

            Thanks Joe,

I was looking for a molding (or moulding, the 1967 AIM seems to use both spellings interchangeably). For future reference, it is located on UPC 1ASM, Sheet F13. A vendor search turned up the term "Pinch Welt Cap". There is a repro available, fortunately mine look like they're in great shape

Is this "cap" also referred to as a "Lock Pillar Cap-Inner" or "Lock Pillar Return - Flange"?
