Mid year head light openings

Have done several mid year restos noticing that several have had tiny stress cracks in the upper corners (left or right opening) of the the headlight opening. Not sure what has caused cracking in the corners of opening....possibly inherit flaw. What have any out there done to fix or remedy this :-/ ?

Make sure that you have your support rods intact that go from the radiator support up to the light area where the motors are. Then just V out the cracks and fill them in with fiberglass and resin. No bondo or filler.

Supports installed. This is typically what I've used in the past. What's the thought on filling with panel adhesive?
