Bumper tips?
Now that I have my car back from paint, I am getting ready to re-install the bumpers. I had them re-plated and I have a bumper bolt package from LIC. Any tips on installing these so that they align correctly? I see so many mid-years with mis-aligned bumpers. I am also looking for any tips that will help protect the surrounding paint.

When I re installed my bumpers I placed blue painters tape on them so
they would't scratch. ( your painter of the body can also supply you with tape.) I also placed a thin piece of cork on the maiting surface of bumper were the bolts go through to bumper. You can't see it but it adds protection . Their are several posts on this subject. Please
add some pictures as the project progress. It works best with two people.Good luck.
