I have my 63 windshield washer working to spray water, but when running is pretty loud with clunking/clicking sound. What is acceptable noise level?

Last week I rebuilt the washer pump on my 63. When I first tried to run the pump it had many noises . I took it apart again an noticed that the roller which rides on the actuator cam was not turning. A little pb blaster and some coaxing got the cam follower roller to function as it should. I also think I didn't have the cam drive pin in the cam slot. I was very careful in the re assembly of the pump making sure every thing lined up as it should and it works like a charm. I rebuilt my pump without removing the wiper motor from the car. I also found that when I took the distributor cap off removing and replacing the pup bolts was a breeze.
