there seem to be a couple of different schematics for the dryer on a 66 sb ac system , my radiator support has 2 holes for the refer tubes, just like the assembly manuel, however, the dryer is too far from the rad support to attach the clamps thst hold it in place wen it is attache to the condenser, does any one have a suggestion, pictures would be wonderful, GRR

Hi Gilbert:
I think that 66 and 67 A/C configurations are identical. I rebuilt my 67 A/C system a few years ago and took a lot of photos before I took it apart. Those photos are still on my hard drive, so I have attached four that might be helpful.- Top

Re: 66 ac dryer fit
Joe,
Great pics. They confirm that I actually did remove this very item from a '67 sb back in '73. I now want to use this condenser on by '66 bb A/C car. Trouble is that the hood contacts the condenser upon opening. Enough so that the hood support does not extend far enough to engage the locking mechanism. I was under the impession that this assembly was indentical to '66 bb and that I could use as such.- Top
