1966 Big Block Oil Dipstick

Checked the archives but didn't see a definitive answer. Is there supposed to be a dimple or not on the dipstick handle? Have one with the salmon colored plug, correct length but no dimple.

Post a pic, I have an original in a very original motor, salmon tip but not sure what you mean.

Here's a couple of pics off eBay, supposedly with the no-dimple handles. The blue (background) pic went for $305. Might have to click on the .bmp file pic to get it to open (this one might be from someone on the DB, but didn't note the name). The difference between dimple and not is subtle.
