Look for a Body shop that has been in business for a while and also does work on boats. Watercraft seem to still use R-12.

Not sure where in central Jersey you are, but you may want to try Corvette Paramedics in Mount Holly.

I am not sure where in NJ you are. I am trying to find a ac service for my 72. You will have a difficult time finding someone to rebuilt the compressor, but if all you need is a service I know of a place in Milltown that has been there for a long time. You may want to talk to him even if you go somewhere else. If you find a compressor guy, I would be interested in knowing. Below is the Milltown contact.
