We are having trouble carb/timing issues on our 67 L-79. I was wondering if there are any Cleveland area members that might be willing to give us a hand with troubleshooting this issue. We have limited experience with Holley's and just had it rebuilt.
We had the carb rebulit because it was leaking pretty badly. When we received it back the car fired right up and would high idle/idle properly with no issues. This was when there was still snow on the ground so we couldnt take it for a test drive. Once we were able to take it out we quickly found out that the car did not want to perform under load. Any time we would ask something from it (2000-2500 rpm) it would start bucking badly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and we would be happy to provide compensation for any time (and a few cold ones
).
Thanks,
Chuck
