1967 BB 435 inside locking mechanism

My passenger side door horizontal locking mechanism came out of the assembly, by the back part of the door where it locks.
Does anyone know how the assembly goes back on and how the clip gets put on? Any photo's to help out? Not much room to work in there.

Hey Dave,

hows the old white and red car doing?? The horizontal rod does not use a clip on either side. To reattach it you need to remove the lock swivel and slid the rod into the hole on the swivel arm. The best way to see how the rod seats on the swivels is to look at the rear lock swivel and the rod the goes from it to the latch connects the same way.

Hi Rich, nice to hear from you. The car is doing very well, nothing but praises on this car minus this little blip. You did a GREAT job on this car.
Never found any restoration photo's did you?
