Birth Announcement - IT'S A BOY!

Actually, I suppose it's an adoption:

Announcing the arrival of my new 2010 Cyber Gray/Red Coupe! Was contemplating the addition of another vintage Corvette, then a gently used Z06, but after lots of thought and a bit of shopping, I instead decided on adding a NEW Vette to the garage. The Cyber Gray/Red is reminiscent of my favorite - Steel Cities Gray/Red.

For anyone that hasn't yet enjoyed the technology and comfort along with the shear power and style, you are missing a real treat. Sure, the Z06 is faster (think 0.4 sec in qtr mile?) but the GS has plenty of power and some very nice creature comforts that'll be appreciated on the planned road trips.

I've attached a couple "baby" pictures. Mom, Dad and Baby are all doing just fine...

PS: Did your son decide on power for his seat?

Alan, your comment, recalling our Carlisle visit brought a chuckle.

Evan was 6 years old when "he" ordered the power seat option for his side on my '93 LT1. He does't like the '72 (too fragile according to him), but is looking forward to visiting from Texas at Thanksgiving so he can see/drive the '10. I hope the weather cooperates so that he can take it for a run.

Times change but the thrills and fond memories remain/continue...

Can you instead come to my house and look at it in the garage? We'll have to keep the doors closed ,however. Can't let the elements get to it.

Congratulations!!! I hate to say it but I just went through the same exercise! I guess mine is a boy too, based upon how loud it growls! I was also looking at a gently used Z06 but ultimately went for new. Mine is a 2010 "left over" GS which was just too good of a deal to pass up!

Congratulations, Joel! Looks great along side of the SWC.

For me as well, the deal on the 2010 GS helped me decide which way to go.

Is yours Cyber Gray too? If so, does this mean we're like, second cousins? In laws?
