New or "reproduction" 4055 and 3659 Holley's

Aside from no date stamps, does anyone know what the physical differences are, if any, between these and the original '69 Holley's?

A couple things I would expect to be different: the throttle shaft on the originals was likely brass and reproductions I've seen appear to be some dark brown material. Also, the list of patent numbers is different and the new bowl screws would be hex head rather than slotted screws. Regarding the patent numbers, I recently read that there is a federal law that prohibits placing expired patent numbers on products and lawyers are suing companies to collect 'damages' for doing so. I wouldn't be surprised if Holley has to do something about this.

How about the metering block of the center carb, stamped 5062, without the repeat of the carb list stamping 4055 as well ?

And are the bowl inlet fittings the same as back-in-the-day ? Could take pics off my late '69 set.

Look also at the configuration of the center body where it meets the throttle plate. I've seen some "reproductions" that are totally unlike the originals.
