1972 door panel screws
Judging manual states that in 1972 door panel attach screws went to a one piece (washer attached). Is there any evidence that the separate washer carried over into the 72 models? I believe mine to be an unmolested one owner (until a month ago) January 72 car, but it has the separate washers behind the screws. All are identical. Anyone experience this previously, or have all of mine been replaced.

Hank, My apr.72 car has the washer built onto the end of the screw and the washer will not remove from the screw, They are a very hard screw to come by I was missing one and found one in Carlisle a few years ago. on a used door panel. And I believe that they may only be 72 and possaibly 73 years only. 1971 were different I think the washer was removeable from the screw head.New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight. -
