Re: Temperature gauge
John, it took me a while to figure out what the previous owner did. Because he replaced one of the original B/P with a yellow wire, this kept throwing me off. I finally looked at each wire following the schematic, origin and connection, only to find that the yellow wire connected to the ignition side of the switch was the other mate to the bare B/P wire I had. I made a new clean connection of both "B/P" wires and connected them to the IGN side of the switch. However, I still have no temp gauge working, no fuel gauge working and now my brake warning light has gone off(it was the only thing working after I had cleaned the terminal on the parking brake switch). I assume I must have somehow dislodged a main connection of the 4 B/P wires somewhere under the dashboard. Once again John, you're right in your thinking. Any ideas where that main 4 connection might be in the wiring harness, closer to the ignition switch or near the fuse panel. Any ideas as to how to approach this now would be a tremendous help. I'm seeing red thru my eyeballs hanging up side down under the dash unit. I'm no giving up the fight on this one!
