I'm sure that most of these street smart, high dollar buyers would not buy any A/C Corvette that did not say "Factory A/C blows cold air". I know I wouldn't but I couldn't afford one anyway.- Top

Most of the stuff is available, from either Classic in Fl or Old Car in Tx, none of it is cheap. The big problem seems to be getting an A6 compressor that won't leak out the front seal in a year or less. I guess that's why so many of the compressor shields are being sold. When C2 a/c works like it should it's great, even down here.
I'd bet most repairs of these 60's era, old factory type A/C units in Corvettes could easily run into thousands of $$$. That is, IF you can find the NOS parts to fix them with and a mechanic who knows what he's doing.
