    Doesn't say anything about "air shoot" anywhere. The chrome on the female buckles has "Irving Air Chute" on them. The tags are different, depending on whether he has an early, mid, or late car, so he needs to give you more help than he has. Also, this is not a format for buying/selling parts. If you're looking for a source for correct belts, you might look in the archives, or hope that someone here will chime in with good options.

        The judging guide for 61-62 covers this subject in depth. pgs 7,8,9

          Thank you John. Must be pretty complicated to span 3 pages in the JG. Next time I'm tempted to ask a question about a year I'm not familiar with, I'll buy the JG, wait for delivery, and read it throughly before I post the question.

            Steve;

            Get in touch with Charlie Santorelli; Seatbelt Sity, he is located here in NJ, expensive, but does very nice work; net new or restoration.

              I just received my new seatbelts for my 1965 Glen Green roadster from Charlie Santorelli in New Jersey today. I bought them this year at Corvettes Carlisle. They are absolutely immaculate in detail & workmanship and well worth the price I paid for them. They are almost too nice to put in my car until I get it painted this spring. I highly recommend him.

                Irving is one seat belt manufacturer and YES they did supply the aviation industry as well as the automotive mfgrs. CS-5000 relates to a safety profile specification (ability to withstand 5000 lb stress). The two terms are horses of different color...

                  I saw seatbelts on a Canadian Charter Airline back in the mid 90s that had seatbelts that looked like `62 belts. I tried to contact the Airline re the belts but didn't get a response.
