65 Dash Wiring Harness

Has anyone replaced the dash wiring harness in a 65 coupe? I want to replace mine and would like to know if the dash has to be removed or loosened.Any help would be appreciated, Thanks Doug

Doug,
I have done a 66 and a 67 and I don't know how you could do it without taking the instrument cluster out of the dash at least part way. Difficult to get the hands up in that tight space and undo and redo bulbs and connections. Not really that big a deal if you pay attention when you do your disassembly.

With the cluster out, it's a great time to pull the pedal support and replace the four plastic pivot bushings for the brake and clutch pedals.
