fuel door question

i am restoring a 1958 C1 is the paint on the interior of the fuel door and area aronund the filler cap the same as the exterior or is it black ?

About 3 miles from me - Shelbourne Estates. I have mostly c2/c3's, but I remember a friend mentioning alan(?) King that has a 58 and belongs to the Queen City Chapter here in Indy. You might be able to use him as a reference.
