    Interesting tank sticker

Just purchased another 67. Interesting tank sticker, with RPO I have not seen hope photo shows up. Last RPO is: 899996, New Car Condition, GM EMP R W Harding, Class A.

I am sure some of you are familiar with this, please let me know what it means. Also car order was received 2-6-67 and produced 3-10-67, much faster than my other 67s.

Can someone also tell me how to resize my picture for uploading

    Sounds interesting...

Resizing: depends on your rig - if you have Office, there is a MS Photo Editor which allows you to resize. If not, a couple of photo editing software can easily do that...

The car was for a zone office employee or plant managment employee of the name on the sticker.

Jim, Congrats on the new acquisition.....can't help with the sticker, but I can with the resize question.

I use a free s/w called Irfanview. It's has many features, but the batch conversion/resize comes in real handy. You can resize all files in a entire directory automatically if desired, or one at a time.

then the download button on the right. One you have it downloaded and installed......click "FILE"....."OPEN".....your file. Select JPEG format.

To resize, click "FILE"..... " Batch Conversion/Rename".

Within the task, make sure you use the setting "Batch Conversion, Rename results Files" or you could possibly overwrite your original files. ADD files into the work box for resize, or ADD ALL. Do this by a browse to where the files are.

You'll can set your output directory for the smaller files, and you can change the names, etc. I usually create a directory within the work directory called "smallfiles", and set the output place there.

For big pictures files starting with 800kb to 1MB, set your output size options to 640x480(results apx 80kb resulting filesize), or 1280x960 for a resulting filesize of about 275kb(within limits for pics here). You can set other options but stick with the basics. One you use Irfanview a few times and figure it out it's a great tool.

set the resolution to 75 when you scan and it should work. if i scan above 75 it says the file is to large

              Jim -

That's an internal accounting code, similar to the one titled "8 cylinder conditioning", which authorized the receiving GM facility's Company Car Garage to submit a reimbursement claim for performing the Dealer Prep procedure.

FWIW there was a high level GM manufacturing exec named Ralph Harding who retired 5-7 years ago...maybe it's a company car he ordered back in the day ????

"Class A" refers to the GM employee discount at that time....

Here is another. Note the Factory installed options. Fire Extinguisher, Floor Mats, and Litter container.
