Is this a Corvette part?

Ok, I've had two cars in and out of the garage in the last day or two (including the 67), and had the main garage spring replaced a week or so ago.

I do NOT recognize this part.

Thoughts?

No part of a Corvette that I know of.

I didn't think so. But it was on the ground CLOSE to where the 67 pulled in. I think it is a leave-behind from the spring repair.

I was involved in every part of taking apart and reassembling my 67, and I NEVER saw a part like this. Just wanted to check with some other folks.
