68 wireing ground points
I have put in a new interior including dash so I have had entire dash removed. The car is back together but the courtesy lights will intermitently stay on until I slam the door a couple of times and then they will go out. I have made sure the switches are well grounded in the door pillars and I have cleaned up the ground strap from the bird cage to the frame. Can anyone tell me where the rest of the ground points are? In terms of interior courtesy lights, their ground path IS through the door jamb switches...
My experience with intermittent operation is the owner/restorer didn't know the factory original switches were "self-learning", he/she failed to reset them to their factory original un-installed configuration when they were removed, and the switch contacts weren't properly cleaned of past surface oxide growth when they were out...Comment

Guys, The switches are new and I did adjust them so that they would self learn I do strongly believe that it isn't a switch problem. Thanks, RussComment
