    C2 Turn Signal Flasher Capacitor

Anyone have a picture of an original C2 turn signal flasher capacitor. The repro's are darker in color than the NOS one show in the attached picture and are also printed with ZB 172, .47 MFD, 100 VDC. This proclaimed NOS one is on ebay and is much lighter in color than the repro, but you can't see if there is labling on it because if would be on the other side. Is the color correct in this picture, and should there be labeling on the capacitor on the other side? The JG for 63-64 does not indicate any labeling on the capacitor.

I'm no expert but it does look a little pale; or maybe the originals darken with age . Anyway, here's the other side of the capacitor off my late 396.

Thanks Wayne, I think the repro's look almost exactly like your original. The the one on ebay I think is incorrect and was is service replacement or maybe not the part number used on corvetts.

Difference I have seen in repro versus original has been paper aging and staples. The cap itself looks pretty good from 3 feet so like a lot of stuff on the flea - people peddling their junk.
