55 Powerglide transmission

I just purchased a 265 V8 w/powerglide transmission. The numbers on the tranny are (1) trans cover left front 3718251 GM26, (2) plate by filler tube 3709096 w/13 under it, (3) trans cover right side 3709050 GM 22X G317, (4) tail housing 3709096 w/13 under it. Is this both a passenger car/Corvette trans?

I couldn't get a hit for the Tail Extension (taken from the thumb nail)
Not in my book. There should be more numbers and dates on the main bodys.

The 3708241 casting number on the extension identifies this as a 1955 Corvette and 1955-56 passenger car Powerglide transmission.

The main case should have a casting number of 3708134 and/or 3708188 for a 1955-56 Passenger car and Corvette with V-8 transmission.

on the pictures that were posted if we use the picture on the right, the main case number and date are on the bottom side of case. the converter case number is located on lowest right of the picture on the side of the converter housing. by slightly lifting the back of transmission this number is able to be read.
