New correct 1967 reproduction rag-joint (steering coupler) with copper ground strap?

Looks like these are new as of August 2010?

They also have rag joints for other years listed on the same page, it doesn't say who manufactures them:http://www.licorvette.com/steering__...s_corvette.htm

How accurate is this reproduction? Is it possible to make the (still available) GM service replacement rag joint look original without compromising the integrity of the part?

All of the flexible coupling assemblies look awfully close to the Saginaw production parts. The only minor criticism would be the blue paint dabs on the heads of the rivets. I do not think that Saginaw dabbed the rivets (as an inspection procedure) until the late 1970s. (But I could be wrong.) Since it was a reliability inspection procedure, it was not called out on the Product Engineering drawings.

Thanks Jim, most of the originals I can remember seeing were not so clean or visible from so many angles, and I don't remember seeing these available as NOS parts. It's good to see what one looks like in "new" condition.

Those rag joints are manufactured by Long Island Corvette Supply.
