I need some help. I am trying to start my car after many years of not running. The motor turns over but I am not getting spark. I tested the coil and have no power when touching positive of the coil with the ignition on. Where can I check?

Re: No voltage to the coil 1967 427
I "think" you would have a wire on your 67 that runs from the starter solenoid to the coil that is used only when the ignition switch is turned to start position.
When the key is on, another wire from the ignition switch goes to ballast resistor and then a wire from the ballast to the coil.
There is a terminal in the fuse block that says IGN. You could run a wire from this to the ballast and see if you have power to the coil.
This IGN terminal in the fuse block only works when the ignition is in the on position. My 68 and 70 have this IGN terminal.- Top

If you have a test light test the pink wire on both sides of the ballast. Also have someone crank the starter and test the pink wire on the starter solenoid.
If no power try to move the firewall connector a bit to see if there is a bad connection at this junction.- Top
