There you have it. Each year, somewhere in the 100 acres of Corvettes at Carlisle, I usually find a '73 I would have bought if I was in the market. But not this year.
Well, maybe I would have made a car out of that yellow big block ...

    Hi Bill,
It's interesting how your description of each car as the buyer varies from the description of the car's seller.
The buyer wants to know as much as possible, while the seller of many cars wants to tell you as little as possible!
    Interesting!
    Regards,
    Alan

        William,
Thanks again for being the eyes for those '73s.
Your searching does show how the ante to get into one has crept up.
The condition of those types of starting point cars used to be in the 5 - 7,000 range.
And yes, my favorite of the bunch was that Yellow BB coupe.
But no, will not be able to buy another project for a while as this one is just reaching it's finish point.

Yes, marginal cars in the teens and 20's in a down economy. Now who knows if any of them sold?

Thanks for the posting!! Im like you, always looking for the 73's at shows. I like to see what my 73 might go for, if I ever decide to sell.

Overall, it was a pretty weak showing of 73's. Last year there were nicer cars for sale. But I always love looking at them all.

                Most were automatics as well.
