    1954 fuse block terminal mounting

The car and the firewall insulation have two holes about 4" apart with one about 30 degrees to the right of the other looking from top to bottom. Pictures I've seen of mounted fuse blocks have mounting tabs on both sides. The NOS fuse panel I bought has mounting tabs on one side only. Am I missing a bracket or tab or do I have the wrong fuse block?

Here's a picture of one similar to what I have which shows the mounting tab on one side of the block but not on the other side.

If you buy another Passenger Car junction block, you can rivet the other bracket to the one you bought. That's how it's done to make a Corvette junction block. The wires are useless for your application.

I buy them on ebay when I need to make a correct unit.

Thanks, Brett. Exactly what you said is what happened through Grossmueller's.
