    NCRS camaraderie at its best

While on the look-out for a correct jack for a '66 at the swap-meet/vendors section of Carlisle this year, a "stranger" over heard my questions to the vendor about the jack they had for sale.

This stranger, then asked me what I was looking for and after telling him it was actually a jack for my '67 and that I needed one without a date stamp, he then shared his knowledge with me about jacks. What he told me saved me from purchasing the wrong exspensive jack.

The stranger turned out to be Mike Murray (25129) who posts here regularly - Special thanks to Mike Murray for helping a fellow member out. It's NCSR camaraderie at its best!

While on the subject of thanks - THANK YOU to everyone on the TDB who shares their knowledge!

Besides being one really great guy, Mike is the 1965 national team leader and the go-to guy for questions on that year. But as you can see, he knows other years.

Kurt, Mike helped one of our members pas on a car that would easily have been a $27,000 error. Bill C from Buffalo was also in on the decision.
