1961 Radio Speaker

1961 AIM list PN. 7270423 as the installed speaker. I picked up a speaker with the PN. 7281141 which I believe is for a 1962. What would be the differences electrical and configuration?

The 7281141 PN is what GM service stocked for 1962. It's downward compatible with the 7270423 factory original speaker but besides having a service vs. factory PN rubber ink stamped on it, the components used to create the matching circuit mounted on the speaker are slightly different.

The differences typically include the specific transformer used, whether there's a discrete resistor with the transformer or not and the way the transformer is mounted to the speaker frame (vertical vs. horizontal orientation).
