What are you using for the nuts and other hardware to keep it from rattling on the interior side of a mid year door. All the original is dried out and useless. I was thinking about using windshield bedding compound since I have a tube left.

I would think 3M strip caulk would work

I remember I needed some for a small job and had to buy a whole box at Car Quest, now if I can just remember where I put it, because I never thought I would use it again.

Thanks Dick, I guess you know your getting up in age when you are confronted with it. Tomorrow is the Big Day and I am sure not looking forward to it.
