1962 Battery question- is this correct???

I picked up a repro battery for my 1962 (from antique auto battery) and it has the correct markings per the judging manual with the CAT NO 558 on the top edge. However, I have some questions on some of the manual comments as follows:

    My questions are:

See the attached pictures as a reference:
    1. On the side of the battery just around the edge of where the 558 is on top, is 559 in an oval. Should that be there? Should it be 559 or 558?

    2. For a May 31, 62 built car, should the covers be yellow with Black letters, or black with yellow letters?? I think the Black with yellow letters was a change in Dec 62.

    Thanks,

    Tony

I think I ansered my own question 1, but question 2 is still open about cap color.

For Q1, this is what i found:
Q: Why is my battery imprinted with "459" when the battery model number is really 458?
A: Delco-Remy used the same battery cases to make both the "wet" and "dry" batteries, and to save money. Your Pontiac/Chevy shipped with a wet battery and Pontiac service parts dealers sold dry batteries. Example: 459 or 559 (odd numbers) signify the dry model on the front and 458 or 558 (even numbers) signify the wet model stamped into the top.
