    4 ?s on 1967s

Does the left horn wire go through a clip on the radiator support, what does the third black plastic tye from the left go around on the fire wall, are the 4 little bolts on the body mount covers in front of the rear wheels cad or black and does anyone have a picture of the anti rattle THINGS that go under the decklid to keep the locks from rattling when the top is down?

#5 Do the screws on the bypass hose clamps have a hex head and a standard screwdriver slot or just a screwdriver slot with a round head.

Keith, on # 5, the screws are cad plated, raised round with a crossed slot that will allow a straight or Phillips driver. Bill.

The driver side horn comes from the wiring harness to the horn. (no clip)
The passenger side goes though a clip on the rad. support to the horn.

3rd tye has harness, wiper hose, hood release cable and purple wire.

4 bolts are cad and could have undercoat on them.

My car was restored by a NCRS judge and Top Flighted in 2009.
        Hope this helps.

          Bill -

Those four screws on the access cover shouldn't have any undercoat on them, nor should the cover; the undercoat was applied in the Paint Shop, and the covers were installed about six hours later, after Body Drop.

                  Keith -

I think everything has been covered except for the anti-rattle things; I've never seen any on known-original cars, and they don't show anywhere in the Assembly Manual. They may be owner-inspired, or they might have been on a TSB for the dealers to respond to owner complaints, but I've never seen anything that would indicate that they were ever factory-installed.
