I know the JM clearly states that the master cylinder cap on non PB cars is painted semi gloss black. I noticed that the Nolan Adams restoration guide shows the cap unpainted on pages 260 & 262. Also, it seems like all the replacement caps are manufactured with an anodized finish. Is this just an oversight in the restoration guide and a case that the anodized finish is provided for better durablity and maybe appearance?
