Still unclear, early cars found with one hole, JG says 3 holes.

Was there a change mid year to 3 hole or is the JG wrong?

1963-E1965: no holes in handle, GM # 3780737

9/1/64 change in AIM

1965-1966 (maybe E1967???): one hole in handle, GM # 3858953

2/67 change as per Chevrolet Parts History, no date change shown in AIM

1967 & newer: 3 holes in handle, GM #3898172

Is there another error in the Judging Guide?

Thanks for confirming. From last year I have not check the latest 66 rev, but that was where the thread got started, after the JG was released.

We will see if this one stand the test of time.

I will say the drawing posted of 3858953 dated 1964 did not have the hole in it. Would need to see a later dated drawing to verify any changes.
