Is there any 'credit' for having original purchase paperwork from selling dealer on a 63 for flight judging? Do any original records of this type have any bearing on judging?

I believe only the items delivered with the car are judged. Records, etc. would not be judged.Tom Hendricks

Agree with Tom. However comma....
If the docs are indeed originals, I would definitely take some good quality pictures and have them for reference in the event a question comes up on the validity of any given option.
In cases where a dispute between the car and the JG arise, it can only help to have some proof in your pocket.

No credit in Flight Judging. The car is to be shown in post dealer prep condition, so the window sticker would not be present.- Top

IMG_0340.jpgI mentioned to a Master judge during a Regional if he wanted to see a copy of my documented original bill of sale............stated he had no interest in seeing it, TWICE!!!!!!! Thought because of rarity, maybe so.........nope. Bruce- Top

FWIW>One exception to the above. If one has an extremely SUPER rare car. L88;M22;and etc.(NOT SURE OF THE COMPLETE LIST) NCRS WILL NOT JUDGE IT UNLESS THE OWNER CAN PROVE IT TO BE. This was in a Message from the Judging Chairman in the "Restorer" a while back.
Please correct me if I am wrong. LarryLarry

Trim Plates with PRIME or SPEC; controversial items(?); duplicate GM VIN Plates; American Heritage cars; Challenge cars and more - are examples where documentation is required.thx,

GM documents can be displayed only if they have received a Document Validation Report. Any others that are displayed must have "Reproduction" noted on them. I believe this is covered in the JRM.- Top

Mark, are GM documents defined as; documents generated by GM such as window stickers, tank sheets, Regular Commercial and Truck sheets, etc. GM documents do not include Dealer generated paperwork, correct?
