    Joe;

    That had to be it, even though it didn't sound like it. I can't imagine any Vette owner in their right mind doing a free rev like that. On the removed C-5 & C-6 OEM exhaust systems, my son and I were speculating that someone in the swap section was probably picking them up for a song for future meets when these owners come to their senses and want to go back to stock. I know we saw some for sale there already.

      Nope, not a flat crank - Ferrari is the only production V-8 with a flat crank (since 1976).
      Thanks John. So it's a combination of 4-7 and a 3-2 swaps? I've heard of a 4-7 swap, but not a 3-2. It's all very interesting though. The 4-7 swap (I think) has advantages to impulse tuning on the inlet side. I don't know what the drawbacks are, but I'm sure that there are some.

      Here's info on firing order for flat crankshafts v cruciform for those who might be interested:

        LS7's make so damn much power that it can almost be confused for a free rev! Loaded motor spins up so fast, it'll boggle your mind. Would love to see an LS9 on the dyno, in person!

        Yup...................a lot like the stock market, no?

            Pat,

            Went under an overpass. Glad you asked since nobody else has. You'll see the shadow in the video, which will now make sense to you.
