    1972 Square vacuum tank mounting

Does anyone have accurate drawings or preferably photos of how this square tank is mounted ?
I am missing something as the lower and left bolt holes align perfectly but the upper (very high inside the fenderwell)holes are off by +/- 1". The mounting is low by the inch plus the contour of the mounting surface doesn't match the contour of the inner fender well.
This is one part that I didn't get pictures of when I dissassembled the car.
Thanks for any help sent my way !

Maybe if you post a photo of your tank and add dimensions for the bolt holes ?

I have found a cure for my missaligned bolt holes. Call me a nonpurest but personnel labor and associated cost dictate some less than judging cures for my situations -- Sorry (But then not much is pure on this car)!
My cure is to drill two new holes in the fender well and then plug the old ones

        Hi Rey,
I was lucky enough to spend the day at Carlisle.
I did look at the various tanks that weren't in cars and was unable to see any readily obvious differences in the tanks or mounting 'feet'.
I also looked at bodys with visible fender aprons. Out of about 10 cars 2 had miss-drilled holes (one had 2 extra holes at upper (north) and 1 had 1 extra at outer (west). The rest all had 6 holes where you'd expect them to be.
My 71, (original owner) has 4 holes for the upper (north) foot. The 2 holes are off left/right, not up/down.
So now I'm wondering if this was quite a frequent occurance?
        Regards,
        Alan
