    We have this technology at our local community college. Write the program using CAD/CAM software, make a prototype out of plastic, and then send the program to the CNC machining centers in the labs. Amazing technology

      My oldest son is majoring in Industrial Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA. I saw some amazing equipment during a campus tour.

        Similar to what they use to print human tissue and organs out of custom programmed cells...

        The 3D printer here is really the star, not the scanner or software.

          I watched them make a replica of the human hand, with all the joints working. It was made in one process, with the moving parts interlocked at it worked. Absolutely amazing
