    Stuart, I did get to Roger's to visit him and see his car collection and that 67 sb is a very nice car. Did not do the car show. I will be back in Orlando in September to caddie for my son at Q-School. I may be back in January for the NCRS meet. My son and I were there a year or so ago. Hopefully if I do we can link up and talk 63's. Thanks for your advice to see Roger's.

    Kent, this modification do not alter the ride height or the angle of the half shafts...it only allowed us to change the pinion angle. We placed the 1 inch plate between the diff and the third cross member.

      Come out west and I'd be happy to let you drive a car that has a GOOD gear ratio combination. I've built many cars for customers using Tremec transmissions and the bottom line is, match the motor, trans. and rear end. My experience, and many others, is that the 500 has a terrible ratio combination. If it works for you, fine. Your combination gives you a 1st gear that is the same as using a CR Muncie with 5.50 rear gears. Great for pulling stumps. Personally, I wouldn't use one if you gave it to me.
