c2 windshield removal

I would like to remove the windshield from my 67 coupe and plan on having a professional do it. However, I would like to get as much ready to have it removed as possible. Does anyone know a good site or reference where I can find out what I should do for a removal? I have a service manual for the 67 but can not follow what should be done. I have taken off the interior and exterior moulding and can see several bolts under the interior moulding. Can someone tell me what these are for?

Those bolts are used to hold the dash pads in place. You don't need to do anything else on the inside.

You have taken the molding outside off so the next step is to cut the weatherstrip around the glass off. When it is off pry the glass loose and remove.
Clean out all the caulking and I recommend replacing the Reveal Molding Retainers with a kit from Paragon. Use only the USA made retainer kit. The imported stuff will NOT hold.

Then follow the instructions in the GM service manual for replacement of the glass.
