I installed a repro some years back and the nut end connecting to the trunk the threads were different then the female threads

I purchased mine from Grossmuellers also and the inner wire diameter was too small

Looks like Grossmueller's seems to be the only place that has anything unless you ant to make one from wire at Radio Shack.

The latest Corvette Central catalog has 56-62 antenna cables. Don't see it on their on line catalog. New item, and advertised as having the correct die cast serrated nut. Will let you know - I am going to buy one.
Nothing listed for 53-55 though. -Dan-

grossmuellers is the only place i could find a antenna wire. nut connecting antenna wire to trunk has incorrect treads, but it was usable. the inner wire is too small and it needs a sleeve over the wire to fit correctly. the inner wire has a coating on it that should be removed before installing on trunk fitting.

I guess I should post a follow up.

John is right about the incorrect threads. I had one that came with the car that I believe came from Grossmueller's a long time ago but can't swear to it.

Anyway, 6 volt Wonderbar reception is great and it works like a champ.
