    C2 Steering shaft

While removing my steering wheel to replace the steering colume it appears that I may have driven the shaft further into the spline that secures the shaft. My first question is where do you find a socket, 12 pt I think, for the bolt that secures the shaft and second will it require any other special tools?

    Thanks in advance,

any 12 point (7/16 or 3/8 I forget) socket will work, the slip fit allows the "fit" to the driver to be adjusted by moving the column in or put of the coupler

The only thing I would add to Bill's comments is make sure the shaft's flat surface is centered on the gap of the coupler or you can strip the threads when you reinstall the bolt.

Thanks for the replys. I found that an 11mm wrench works great.
