The Assembly Manual calls for a bushing (444026) in the block, then a T fitting (9409943) that accepts the production adapter with the line attached to it. I'm finishing up the assembly of a rebuilt engine and can't find these fittings. It looks like the production adaptor is still on the line but the bushing and TEE block is MIA. I haven't seen all of these for sale at the corvette part stores I'm used to buying from. Does anyone know where the bushing and TEE block can be purchased? Thanks

Re: 68 L-36 Oil Line Fitting
Steve
From the research I have done the 68 AIM is incorrect in how it shows the oil line fittings on a BB. The T was not used and the oil line adapter was connected directly to the bushing in the block. I've attached a picture of what it should look like.
It also should be noted that the take off point of the oil line was different based on if the engine had hydraulic and solid lifters. The picture is of a solid lifter engine.
For solid lifter engines the oil line was connected to the first of 3 possible bosses along the oil filter casting pad on the block. On an hydraulic lifter engine the first boss was not drilled and the line connects to the second boss. The two bosses were drilled to different sizes so they used two different bushings.
Take a look at page 14 of Paragon Reproduction's current catalog to see the various oil line engine block bushings available. It looks like it should be either part number 40 or 41.
