    L-78 Valve lash possibly?

I know that this may be off the topic of corvettes but hopefully I can ask this question. My neighbor across the street bought a 1967 Chevelle SS 396 brand new and still has it. It has been sitting for 20 years and we finally got it running but not too well. The engine was rebuilt in 1973 and only driven for 3k miles or so. As far as the owner recalls, the car had a TRW 500 lift or so, solid lifter cam installed in it. The car was originally a 396-350 hp and still is. What would be the correct valve lash setting on this cam? The car also has an Edlebrock Tarantula manifold with a Holley 780 cfm carb. Any help would be greatly appreciated. He cannot find the paperwork for the engine rebuild so we don't know exactly what the camshaft is. Thanks in advance for your help.

.024 intake and .028 exhaust should be close enough to get it running. if that setting sounds too loud set them at .020 and .024
