    Charlie Cadenhead

I received an emai earlier today informing me that Charlie Cadenhead, the Texas Chapter Chairman, passed away last night. Charlie was one of the good guys, loved his cars and loved to drive them. Rest In Peace my good friend.

No details, as of yet, on arrangements

He will be dearly missed. Had a lot of long conversations with him as he and I had a lot of similar experiences from back in the day.
          Rest in peace Charlie.

Although I do not remember, I'm sure Charlie and I have crossed paths a time or two in the past. You can easily tell by looking at his pictures that he is one heck of a good human being.

I know, in my heart, he would not trade where he is now with where he has been, good as it was.

            Godspeed, Charlie!

Charlie you will be missed. I always admired your willingness to asnwer all my questions. I especially admired you for not being afraid to drive all your Corvettes. I know those of us in the Rocky Mountain Chapter lost a great friend.

This is so sad. We were just on the Road Tour with him, and of course chatted a lot with him at convention. I have been on a bunch of Road Tours with him in both his 1964 and now his 2009. He, like many of us, made the leap to a C6 Road Tour car. He was just an all around great guy.

My condolences to Jean and the entire family.

So sorry to hear. I was lucky enough to sit at a table with him at the Iowa Regional. I just barely got to know him, but he struck me as the genuine article.

                  God speed Charlie....

This is a really sad day. Charlie was one of a kind. He will be so very much missed! I was fortunate to meet him here in NC at the National Convention. When he told me that he would be coming this way he wanted to be certain that we met.

We had many different interactions. My last being him sitting on a bench in Charlotte in the Z-Max area sweating profrusely as it was so hot with a high degree of humidity. I sat with him for a long time but really felt that he was not well.
Thank you Charlie for your love of corvettes, your expertise shared and your exuberence for life and all the above.

I was truly blessed by his interest in me and Bella.
Charlie, you are among the very best! May your second life be even greater!
